1. Biblical knowledge
The focus of CLSM instruction is “Knowledge that Transforms”. We believe God gave us the Bible not to “inform” us, but to “transform” us! At Calgary Life School of Ministry you will receive solid Biblical teaching delivered in a positive and practical manner, with an emphasis on the integrity of God’s Word.
2. Local Church Ministry
A common complaint among veteran pastors is that Bible College never prepared them for what they would face in the ministry. At CLSM, our goal is to train students in every aspect of ministry including: Conflict Resolution, Dealing with Difficult People, Working with Boards & Volunteers, Administration & Finances, and much, much more. Through our Practicum Program, students receive hands-on training in a variety of church ministries making them a valuable asset to any team.
3. Leadership Development
Calgary Life School of Ministry exists to extend Christ’s Kingdom by equipping believers and empowering leaders. As a student, you will discover how to develop your own leadership skills, as well as those of the people around you.
4. World Missions
Jesus final commandment to His disciples was to ‘preach the Good News to every person.’ At CLSM we take the Great Commission seriously. Our programs include instruction in sharing the Gospel in various cultures including our own. Students may also have the opportunity to participate in one of Calgary Life Church’s international missions outreaches.

Learning
It is impossible to develop spiritually without a thorough knowledge of God’s Word. At Calgary Life School of Ministry we endeavor to communicate truth in a way that will impact your heart and stay with you forever.

At CLSM, we do not focus on “head-knowledge”. Our focus is a Person – Jesus Christ. When you know Him, love Him, and increasingly become like Him, you cannot help but succeed.
